All Hands On Deck Math Games for Grades 4 – 6 WEBINAR

Come prepared to learn and play games from our Box Cars And One-Eyed Jacks series of teacher resources that focus on key concept topics for 4th – 6th grade students.  The games will mostly use regular playing cards and sometimes regular spotted dice that are commonly found in most homes.  These card games are great for you to use in your virtual teaching or to send home over the summer for students to practice their math in engaging ways.  We always strive to provide a hands-on workshop, so in this webinar, you will be playing the games, seeing student samples, and learning extensions to differentiate the games to bet meet the needs and interests of you and your students.  The games will focus on the following concepts: mixed operations and order of operations; multi-digit operations; place value ranging from whole numbers in the millions down to decimals in the thousands; beginning algebra and solving for X; and some equivalent fraction work.

YOU WILL NEED: A deck of regular cards, regular six sided spotted dice, and a printout of the pdf handout, which will be made available for you to download after you checkout with your cart.

Join us in this new format – your students will thank you!
